Gekkeikan Traditional is the world's most popular Junmai-shu! It embodies the signature Gekkeikan style and represents over 370 years and 14 generations of sake brewing experience.
Style:Herbaceous with hints of grapefruit and a light earthiness. Good acidity, mineral driven, well-balanced with a clean, medium finish.
Pairing Notes: Delicious with tempura, full flavored fish and shellfish, fresh green vegetable dishes, and coconut-based Asian dishes. A flavorful base for stocks and marinades.

Gekkeikan Nigori Sake
Gekkeikan Nogori is a rough-filtered Junmai-shu. By definition Nigori means " cloudy" and this style of sake is thicker and creamier in texture, with a milk-like appearance. The "cloudiness" comes from the rice sediment which remains in the sake after it has been passed through a special coarse-mesh filter. The tradition of rough-filtering sakes has been used in Japan for many centuries.
Style: Characteristically sweet with a creamy medium-body. Hints of honey and tropical fruit, with a long finish.
Pairing Notes: Delicious with fresh fruit salad, lightly sweetened desserts, rich flavored meat dishes and spicy food.
Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled or in a variety of unique cocktails. Shake well before serving.

Gekkeikan Suzaku
Gekkeikan Suzaku is a Junmai Ginjo-shu and is the first ever Ginjo to be introduced to the House of Gekkeikan portfolio. The word Suzaku, meaning guardian of the South, refers to the myhhological Japanese name for the Vermillion Bird.
Brewer's Notes: Made from a combination of fresh spring water, yeast, koji and the finest rice, this premium sake is carefully fermented at a low temperature to produce its fine fruity aroma that includes delicate notes of pear, honeydew and pineapple. The taste is remarkable smooth on the palate with a creamy body that leads to a light fruit finish.
Pairing Suggestions: Suzaku is a versatile sake that complements an array of foods arnging from light fare dishes such as grilled white fish and seared scallops to rich flavored meats such as BBQ pork and beef ribs. Suzaku is a premium sake and is best enjoyed slightly chilled or at room temperature.
